PTI Make It Monday #83: Card Aisle Inspiration

In this week's Make It Monday, Melissa Phillips shares a fantastic video showcasing a fun inspiration source, the card aisle at your local store!  If you would like to check it all out for yourself, you can find out about it here.

I usually avoid the card aisle at all cost, since I am, after all, a card maker ... but it was kind of neat to browse through it with a different purpose in mind.  I was a bit surprised to find that there weren't many cards that caught my eye for this challenge.  Here is one that did:

I used Smokey Shadow for a card base and embossed my background with a satin pearl white embossing powder.  The embossing has a neat sheen to it that is most easily seen under incandescent lights.

The inspiration card had a cool hologram button on it that said "Trick" at one angle and "Treat" at the other.  For my sentiment I used some die cut letters with stamping done using the Simple Alphabet stamp set.  The sentiment is placed on shimmer paper cut with PTI's Limitless Layers Oval dies.

Thanks ever so much for stopping by!
