This month's PTI Blog Hop challenge is to gleam inspiration from the above photo and use it to create a project!
I am over-the-moon about this challenge as I absolutely LOVE a beautiful, bright, cheerful yellow! It's my all-time favorite color and has been since I was a kid. I LOVE it!
I had previously made a card for the PTI January Blog Hop (here). When I saw the inspiration photo for this month's blog hop, I knew I wanted to make a modified version of it in bright & cheery yellow.
So they say 3rd times a charm ... I'm not so sure. Each time I've made this card design, I've tweaked it just a bit to make it better. Just when I think I've got it, I look at the final result, and there's always a little something I'd like to do differently. Maybe if I keep trying, I'll end up with a pretty rainbow-spectrum of cards I can gift to someone special. :)
Supplies (all PTI unless noted):

ReplyDeleteVery pretty card like the tone on tone zig-zag borders. I started out with that idea, but scrapped it and ended up with something totally different.

I love the way you used the rick rack dies white on white!! It looks great. And the edgers dies with the rosie posie looks awesome, too :) Great take on the inspiration photo!
