PTI Make It Monday #154: One-layer Cards

This month's Make-It-Monday challenge is hosted by Erin Lincoln.  She is just fabulous and has provided some tips on how to add dimension and interest to our one-layer cards.  If you would like to check things out for yourself, you can find all the info here.


Having just received my new Make-It-Market kit, I couldn't wait to break out that gorgeous impression plate.  I used it here with plain 'ole Stampers Select card stock.  Isn't it gorgeous?!?  I added some colorful flowers from Bold Bouquet along with a pretty script sentiment.


I even went the extra mile to decorate the inside of the card and make a matching envelope as well.

    Love the stamp on the envelope as well! Such a pretty card too. I find it hard to create a card w/out the bulk. I always want to add layers!

    Color AND texture on a one layer card! Perfect! The inside is just as cute as the outside!
