PTI Make It Monday #57: Colored Kissing

This week Papertrey Ink has a tutorial and challenge hosted by Heather. She has shown us how to "kiss with color" on our projects. If you would like to check it out for yourself, you can find all the info here.

I decided to finally break out my new-to-me friendship jar set for this challenge. I stamped the jar filler in Spring Rain ink and then "kissed" the filler stamp again with my Polka Dot Basics stamp, sporting Enchanted Evening ink. I'm really not sure what exactly I was expecting to get, but the pattern does remind me of marbles (which is fitting for a jar, I suppose).

I do so enjoy coloring with Copics, but me thinks I would benefit from taking a class! :)

Supplies (all PTI unless noted):
Stamps: Friendship Jar, Daydreamer, Polka Dot Basics
Ink: Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain, Old Olive (SU)
Dies: Jar Label, Medium Scallop Border, Picnic Plaid impression plate
Cardstock: Stampers Select White, Enchanted Evening
Other: Copic markers, Enchanted Evening bakers twine

Thank you ever so much for stopping by today!

  2. Your card is super cute! I was going to do the friendship jar myself as I feel I don't get enough use out of it. I love the blue and I love the coloring. I need a class too! :)

  6. So pretty! I love the double colored polka dots in the jar. It reminds me of a confetti...and thus a party in a jar. I think I'm going to have to make a birthday card now with a confetti filled jar. :) Thanks for the inspiration!
