PTI Make It Monday #55: Creating Large Frames With Smaller Frame Stamps

This week Papertrey Ink has a tutorial and challenge hosted by Dawn. She has shown us a way to stretch our supplies by using our smaller frame stamps to create larger frames for our projects. If you would like to check it out for yourself, you can find all the info here.

I was a bit stumped by this challenge and finally just started sifting through my stamp collection looking for a frame that I could manipulate. I spotted the seed packet stamp and decided to give it a try. Here's the result:

I stamped the frame end-to-end on Ocean Tides card stock in VersaMark ink and heat embossed the resulting image with clear embossing powder. I fussy cut the image out and used Copic T1 & T4 markers to shadow around the details.

Supplies (all PTI unless noted):
Stamps: Pretty Peonies, Half & Half, Mega Mixed Messages
Ink: Ocean Tides, French Roast (Amuse), VersaMark (Tsukineko)
Cardstock: Ocean Tides, Kraft
Other: Filigree clear embossing powder, Copic markers

Thanks ever so much for stopping by today!
