PTI Make It Monday #63: Glitter Die Cuts

This week Papertrey Ink has a tutorial and challenge hosted by Heather. She has shown us a really simple way to add glitter and sparkle to your die cuts. If you would like to check it out for yourself, you can find all the info here.

I didn't have much time to spare this week, but I did have two birthday cards to make, one for each of my girls for parties they were invited to over the weekend.  To make things as quick as possible, I modified a card design we'd made before to fit this week's challenge.

I had previously made a zipper tag (here), and decided to make a modified version of it to include some cash for the birthday gift.

To make space for the cash, I was careful to place the scor-tape around the perimeter of the tag and made sure I left it open where the "zipper" portion zips off.

Both of my daughters reported that the birthday girls liked their cards/gift.  One birthday girl kept flapping the butterfly's wings and the other was in wonder at how we got the money inside.  So much fun!  :)

Thanks ever so much for stopping by today!
